Independent Book Festival
The Independent
Book Festival September 23rd - 25th 2010 at the Sportsmen's Lodge Hotel in Studio City, California.
Self-published authors from around the world are invited to participate in the three day festival in Los Angeles California. The general public is invited to purchase their books and meet the writers. Literary agents/manager, book buyers, publishers, reviewers, media specialists, regional and national segment producers for radio and television, celebrity authors and film producers will not only judge, but be in attendance. The festival will conclude with an awards ceremony honouring/celebrating the best of the best on the final evening of the event.

CPI Antony Rowe - How to Self-Publish Your Book
CPI is the leading manufacturer of monochrome and two-colour books in the UK. In association with the Winchester Writers' Conference, CPI runs two workshops a year at their Chippenham site. The workshops are scheduled to run on Friday 7th May 2010 and Friday 17th September, 2010. The purpose of the workshops are to introduce and inform authors who wish to self-publish about the requirements and costs of the publishing process and to help authors develop a manuscript that will meet the requirements of the marketplace.
